The Defense Ministry is completing work, the fortification of dozens of hitchhiking posts throughout Yehuda and Shomron. These posts service thousands of soldiers and civilians alike and after many vehicular terror attacks, the decision was made to place large concrete blocks in front of the stops to prevent a vehicle ramming persons waiting.

Forty hitching posts have been fortified including at the entrance to Kiryat Arba, the site of several terror attacks in recent months.

On Tuesday, workers were seen at Tapuach Junction in the Shomron, where they were fortifying five hitching posts at the major Shomron junction.
