After his lengthy service as a naval commando, then security systems management for luxury boats, diving with whales on exotic beaches, Elad Tzadikov became one of the most successful fashion resellers in Europe and Israel. In the midst of preparations for an international fashion fair in Tel Aviv, he was called to lead the assault force to Lebanon during the Second Lebanon War.

The sharp transition and dangers he confronted force him to deal with his Jewish identity.

Elad explains he served in the prestigious Shayetet 13 naval commando unit for five years and then jumps to his successful career in the fashion industry. He explains suddenly he finds himself in a life and death situation back in military. He explains that while in Lima Peru he prepared a meat meal while his friend conjured up a dairy sauce. He told his friend “your sauce is dairy and we do not mix” to which the friend responds “We are intelligent [we do not do this]” and this started the thinking process…
