The leaders of chareidi factions in Knesset are going to request a separate entrance to the egalitarian prayer area near the Kosel and not a common entrance to the men’s or women’s areas of the Kosel.

There seems to be a difference of opinion between the chareidi elected officials. Some feel that they must be somewhat flexible and make limited demands amid the awareness the matter might be challenged in the High Court and then the outcome would likely be far worse.

Others disagree and feel that they are compelled to do what they should without fear of the High Court, acting according to their hashkafa and address High Court concerns if and when they are relevant.
