Erev Shabbos marks the fourth day since Mrs Esti Weinstein, 50, disappeared in northern Israel after leaving a despondent note.
As reported, the formerly chareidi women, a mother of seven, was shunned by her family when she decided to stop leading a life of Torah and Mitzvos some eight years ago. The family is now calling on the media to help get the message out, that they wish to renew ties and work things out, pleading for her to make contact with them.
The search continues in the hope she will be found alive, as the family becomes increasingly concerned with each passing day. Anyone with any information is urged to call the Israel Police ‘100’ emergency number.

Before anybody posts any further condescending words, please note that there is a lot of background information that is not being stated in the media that would be necessary to make any fair judgement calls. It is neither necessary, nor our business to know details about this woman’s family matters. Our requirement as G-d Fearing caring Jews is to daven for her and her family for her safe return and family healing.

However, it seems that the reason most of these so called “news” items are reported is to get the bloggers to
make the type of statements are you asking them not to make.
I feel bad for the family who feels guilty about what happened to their mother and are trying to renew their relationship with her. They should not feel guilty about what happened. She would’ve been a bad influence on the other kids. I hope the mother is OK, but she shouldn’t make herself into the victim. She is not the victim. Her lifestyle, and putting her desires before her 7 kids, is her own choice as are the resulting feelings of loneliness and depression from her own actions.
