A Belgian judge has ordered six people detained for another month in the investigation into the November attacks in Paris.
The Thursday ruling was announced in a communique from the Belgian Federal Prosecutor’s Office.
One of the detainees affected is Mohamed Abrini, 31, who also is being investigated for suspected links to the March 22 suicide bombings that killed 32 victims in Brussels.
In separate judicial proceedings, a Brussels appeals court panel is hearing Abrini’s appeal of a June 9 ruling that he can legally be extradited to France in connection with the Nov. 13 attacks that killed 130 people in Paris.
Both the Paris and Brussels attacks were claimed by the Islamic State extremist group.
