Tens of thousands of Ramadan worshippers visiting Har Habayis last week were less than pleased to learn the restrooms were all locked down. According to the MyNet report, the restrooms were shut down by Jerusalem City Hall, which insists the bathrooms are operating illegally.
In response, City Hall officials stated “In coordination with the Israel Antiquities Authority, we issued a stop-work order for the building outside the surrounding wall of Har Habayis, construction that began illegally and without building and safety permits.
“It should be noted that the Jerusalem municipality and Israel Police in coordination with the Waqf help placing portable toilets in place during Ramadan to accommodate worshipers”.

Does this animals need restrooms???
These animals need restrooms
A really stupid idea, especially during their holy month of Ramadan. Would these geniuses in city hall also shut down the bathrooms by the Kosel on the Yom Tovim??
Don’t they fast all month?
If there’s no “garbage in” then there should be no “garbage out”!
People who are fasting supposedly don’t require use of the facilities so often.
it’s about time. dirty sewage has been running down the mount for too long.
