Jerusalem Chief Sephardi Rabbi HaGaon Rav Shlomo Amar davened shachris on Tuesday morning 8 Sivan at the ‘Reform Kosel’, the new egalitarian prayer area. During the recitation of Kaddish the rav was brought to tears as he was during portions of the tefilla over the reality of the government moving ahead in defiance of chareidi parties.
Shortly before the rav’s arrival a mechitzah was set into place at the Reform Kosel and a guard tore it away and warned if it is placed back into place, he will bring 20 women in its place. Security officials arrived and calmed the guard.
The rav laments the gains enjoyed by the Reform Movement in Israel during recent months. He explained during this period the ‘Sitra Achra’ is visible and the moly holy the site, the greater the effort being exerted to defile it. He emphasized that “we remain vigilant and our only desire is to be MeKadesh Shem Shomayim, the Shechina, Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael.
Rav Amar continued “No one can remove the kedusha, not these wicked people, not the government and not a court. This holiness cannot be removed, this is holy, this is Har Habayis and no power in the world and the Kosel’s status is that of Har Habayis”.

I wonder if the guy using his phone saw this and is embarrassed.
Im getting nervous to see the rabbi cry, it seems he has a bad feeling of what the result of all this nonsense will bring to our nation.
Why was he there? Who was the “guard”?
“the moly holy the site, the greater the effort being exerted to defile it.”
