It took Donald Trump twenty four hours after a murderous Palestinian terror attack to condemn it in the “strongest possible terms”. His statement was released on his Facebook page after 3:00PM on Thursday afternoon – 24 hours after the attack that left four Israelis dead, and 9 wounded.
Hillary Clinton condemned the attack on Wednesday evening, just after the attack.
Although the State Department released a statement following the attack, President Obama has not said anything.
Here are the statements in full – as released to the media:
Statement From Hillary Clinton On Terrorist Attack In Tel Aviv
Wednesday, Hillary Clinton released the following statement on the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv:
“I condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Tel Aviv today. I send my deepest condolences to the families of those killed and I will continue to pray for the wounded. I stand in solidarity with the Israeli people in the face of these ongoing threats, and in unwavering support of the country’s right to defend itself. Israel’s security must remain non-negotiable.”
Donald J. Trump
I condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the outrageous terrorist shootings that took the lives of at least four innocent civilians and wounded at least twenty others in Tel Aviv yesterday.
The Israeli security forces’ investigation is ongoing, but some facts have already emerged — and they are grim.
Just as fast as the condolences arrive from the civilized world is the praise arising out of the uncivilized one. Hamas praised the attack, calling the attackers “heroes.” Reports out of Hebron indicate that residents of the terrorists’ hometown lit up the night sky with celebratory fireworks. One Palestinian “news organization” even referred to the shootings, in which the assailants dressed up as observant Jews, as a “Ramadan treat.” The leader of Hamas called the injured terrorist a “hero.” How despicable!
The American people stand strong with the people of Israel, who have suffered far too long from terrorism. Israel’s security is a matter of paramount importance to me and the American people.
We understand all too well the unspeakable horror that terrorism unleashes. To address it — and address it we must! — we must recognize the parallel horror of the culture of religious hatred that permeates many Palestinian quarters. From schools that indoctrinate toddlers to grow up to kill Israelis to the daily menu of hate that spews forth from various “news organizations,” change is long overdue in the Palestinian territories.
Let us begin the arduous task of creating a future where peace can take root and terror finds no refuge.
I express my deepest condolences to the families of the four Israelis who were murdered, as well as my wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Donald J. Trump
U.S. Department Of State:
The United States condemns today’s horrific terrorist attack in Tel Aviv in the strongest possible terms. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of those killed and our hopes for a quick recovery for those wounded. These cowardly attacks against innocent civilians can never be justified. We are in touch with Israeli authorities to express our support and concern.

Look it takes Donald some time to find someone who can write something for him that is coherent and sane. Whomever wrote it for him did a good job though.
So…
Hillary is so much better cuz she did it right away, Trump only did it 24 hrs later – absolutely terrible! (sarcasm)
C’mon, GROW UP!!!
YWN seems to be totally in the tank for Hillary
The sooner YWN realizes that whoever attacks Trump – loses big time – the better.
Akiva r.
If it was reversed you would complain
Of course they both condemned the attack. There are more Jewish voters than Palestinian voters in the US. The Trump statement was well written, definitely not the words of Donald Trump.
But look at the differences of there writings … Clintons is blunt next to Trumps understandings
I would prefer Trump’s statement, where he showed his real opinion about the uncivilized Palestinian culture, over Hillary’s and the state department half hearted few lines of political gibberish, which they don’t even want to say.
Trump’s statement is the most thorough and coherent of the three (Trump, Clinton, State) presented. He’s the only one who went beyond the attacks themselves to observe the aftermath in Arab circles and to condemn that as well. YWN is getting into a bad habit of introducing stories with headlines that lead one to think one thing, but when you read the full story a totally different picture emerges. Let’s leave the slanted headlines to the goyish media. You’d have done much better to just headline the story: “Reactions from Trump and Clinton.”
Hey YWN! you expect us to fall for this stupidity . Trump was first to have a frum son in law . Trump was first to hire a frum financial advisor. Whos better now?!bunch of clowns.
What does a frum son in law and financial advisor have to do with anything? Trump is rambling incoherent and racist. He is also the first who couldn’t answer the David Duke question and made distasteful remarks about Jews at the RJC conference. Anyway Hillary was first to have a Jewish son in law, and she has had Jews involved with her campaign’s from the day they begun.
It’s not who answered first it’s how they answer it.
I think Trump got all information straight first then gave his answer.
