BARUCH DAYAN HA’EMMES: It is now reported that three persons have R”L been murdered in the Wednesday night terrorist shooting attack at the Sarona Market complex in Tel Aviv. Police received the first call of a “shooting attack at Sarona” at 9:30PM. That call was followed by numerous calls of multiple shooting attacks in the area.
Preliminary evidence at the scene points to two terrorists who opened fire in the shopping complex, shooting randomly in all directions. One of the terrorists was wounded and the second apparently was taken into custody uninjured.
Witnesses explain they heard bursts of automatic gunfire. One terrorist either ran out of ammunition of his weapon, which is being described as “makeshift” jammed.
The location of Sarona is Aluf Kalman Magen Street in Tel Aviv, near Ichilov Hospital.
The remainder of the wounded from the attack are being treated at Ichilov Hospital. At present, it appears there are still victims in critical and serious condition. Police report the location is officially being declared ‘under control’. An Israel Police chopper continues operating overhead. It is unclear if the all clear has been given regarding fears of an explosive device(s) at the market complex.
From the Sarona website:
The Sarona Market complex was established to be the heartbeat of Israeli culinary art. On an area of 8,700 square meters and with 91 shops of all categories, stalls and restaurants, Sarona Market is Israel’s largest indoor culinary market and operates seven days a week. The project was constructed by Gindi Holdings on Sarona Gardens in the heart of Tel Aviv. Sarona Market is an innovative, contemporary urban market that combines the old world with the new. A gourmet and consumer product market featuring imported cheeses from across the globe, premium balsamic vinegar from Italy, fresh seafood from the Atlantic Ocean, French champagne and spices from the Far East along with the best local produce – fruit and vegetables from Emek Hefer and the Arava, lamb and veal from the Golan Heights, fresh fish from the Mediterranean Sea, local wines, boutique beer, chocolates and hand-made pastries. A central place where you can experience the full intensity of all the flavors of contemporary Israeli culinary art under one roof.

The number of dead is now four.
Maybe it’s time for such stores to have some sort of detectors or Arabs should be frisked by the door.
Maybe it’s time to expel these bloodthirsty animals!
This points out the failure of gun control on a major level. Most Israelis have had military service and are well trained in handling weapons and they are under constant terrorist threat. When the terrorists got up to shoot there should have been a storm of fire directed back at them by the public. There wasn’t and this is due to the shameful disarming of the public by the Israeli Leftist government.
They were not dressed as Orthodox Jews but as people in plain business suits.
These and all other terrorists like them and so many others around the world will begin to fall deep into the earth as the grind will open up beneath them and swallow them whole. This miracle will begin on Shavuos 5776.
Maybe it’s time to put to sleep — permanently — all these wistful dreams of a “two-state solution.” This always happens when the Arabs are given any leeway at all. Rabin tried to get peace talks started over 20 years ago and got buses blown up and hundreds of Jews killed. Bush/Sharon actually make two-state solution their ultimate goal (after 2 straight years of non-stop terrorism) and get more terrorism. Gaza goes to Arabs, and instead of building a responsible state they build it into a launch site for missiles against Israel and ground-based terrorists to kill others. Now Lieberman and his henchmen give some loosening of restrictions so the Arabs can enjoy Ramadan, and the Arabs turn it into a killing spree followed by a 3-course banquet at night. The Arabs demonstrate time and again just what they are and always will be. They are not fit for a state, or for any standing in polite society.
