Bayit Yehudi party leader Naftali Bennett seems to have an issue not only with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, but also with his party’s partner, the Tekuma faction. Bennett on Wednesday 2 Sivan spoke to Galei Yisrael Radio host Kalman Lipskind, explaining the actions of the Tekuma members will determine if the two run together in the next elections.
Clearly Bennett was sending a hint in the direction of Minister Uri Ariel, the leader of the Tekuma faction, who has recently spoken out numerous times against Bennett’s ultimatums to PM Netanyahu and coalition leaders.
When asked if they will run together in the future, Bennett explained “There actions will determine if they are closer and their actions will determine if they move further away”.
Amid Bennett becoming increasingly isolated in the coalition, he is now beginning to isolate himself inside the party, highlighting the possibility of the factions going their separate ways in the next Knesset elections.
