Jerusalem Chief Sephardi Rabbi Opposes Any And All Deals With Reform Jewry


1Jerusalem Chief Sephardi Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar Shlita during an interview with Kikar Shabbos News expressed tenacious opposition to any and all deals with representatives of the Reform Movement.

The rav was interviewed on Tuesday evening 1 Sivan, after another day of provocation as the Women of the Wall hid a Sefer Torah under garments and smuggled it into the ezras noshim of the Kosel. Rav Amar stated that he spoke with Kosel Rav Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz Shlita and explained that even if gedolei yisrael feel some deal must be made with them, he personally remains opposed but will nevertheless comply with the wishes of the gedolim.
