Bayit Yehudi party leader Minister Naftali Bennett maintains strained relations with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at best. Some predict Bennett’s tenure in the coalition government is limited at best, expecting his party to be replaced by Machane Tzioni.
Of late, Bennett has been increasingly outspoken, targeting both Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, both having recently reiterated their support for the establishment of a Palestinian state, the so-called two-state solution. Ironically, at present, Bennett poses the greatest threat of the right-wing coalition falling apart.
Bennet on motzei Shabbos was a guest on Israel’s Meet the Press news program. The video is in Hebrew.
