Interior Minister Deri Warns The Homefront Is Not Prepared For War

deriInterior Minister Aryeh Deri warns Israel’s homefront is not prepared for the eventuality of a war, which would include missile attacks against cities around the country, Channel 2 News reported. The report adds that Deri argued with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman at a cabinet meeting, insisting the homefront is not prepared for a wartime scenario despite reports to the contrary.

Deri feels the matter is urgent and must be addressed by the Security Cabinet. He warns “We cannot just look Heavenward but must act”, adding there is a lack of emergency supply inventory, a lack of a standardized plan and an overall lack of preparedness.

Deri adds he is fine with undertaking the responsibility for taking the necessary actions providing he is given the appropriate budget required.

  1. Our enemies do not need any spies to gain access to secret army information. They only need one computer and a connection to the internet.
Thank God, Hashem is the one who is really really protecting us.
