Mr. David Sharan, who is serving as PM Netanyahu’s Chief of Staff, has been tapped to become the new cabinet secretary. That position was vacated when Dr. Avichai Mandelblit was appointed Attorney General earlier this year.

Mr. Yoav Horowitz, currently serving as CEO of Avis Israel will fill become the PM’s new Chief of Staff.

Sharan was born in the United States and serves as a lt.-colonel in the IDF reserves. Prior to becoming the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, he served as Chief of Staff for Dr. Yuval Steinitz when the latter was serving as Minister of Finance.
