“What is the difference between Lieberman and Ya’alon” asks Arab MK Jamal Zahalka during a Knesset plenum address. He explains that “Ya’alon is quiet, says little and does a great deal, referred to as salt of the earth, a true kibbutznik while Lieberman is a fascist and says a great deal”.
However, he points out that “when Ya’alon bombed Gaza, killing 300 children, he is not a moral person but a murderer of children. He murdered 2,200 Palestinians in Gaza! How can one call him a moral person? How can one back him and call him a good person” he questions?
He continues “There are clear criteria regarding war crimes…Ya’alon is a war criminal. One who murders 2,200 people in Gaza. Don’t tell me he is moral…I do not understand how you look in a mirror and tell me he is moral when he murdered all these people. He gave the order!”
“Morality is judged by the outcome, not one’s intensions” he adds.
