The Tikvah Institute for Yeshiva Men is gearing up for its third annual program this ben ha’zmanim, to take place in New York. The all-expense paid experience is open to those ages 20-35 with considerable yeshiva background.
This year’s program is entitled “Right, Left, and the Jews: The Torah Community and the Future of American Politics.” The topics to be discussed will include the Torah’s view on economic systems and religious liberty in America today. Among the presenters will be Rav Ahron Lopiansky, rosh yeshiva of the Yeshiva of Greater Washington, and Rabbi Aaron Kotler, CEO of Beth Medrash Govoha. The program dean is Rabbi Yitzchok Adlerstein, of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles and the online blog Cross Currents.
The deadline to apply to the institute is this Sunday, June 19. In addition to subsidizing all participant expenses, the Tikvah Fund provides a learning stipend, as well. For more information or to apply, visit www.tikvahmen.org.
