An Arab male tried entering the Beersheva Central Bus Station on Tuesday afternoon 10 Iyar with a knife. Security personnel stopped him for inspection and he turned around and fled. He threw the knife while fleeing the scene and was apprehended following a short pursuit near the city shuk. He was taken into custody by police.

A Beersheva police spokesman adds the suspect is in his 20s and a resident of Kuseife, a Bedouin community in the area. The knife they he threw was also recovered.
