With a large police force on hand, Israel’s Parks Authority officials on Tuesday morning 9 Iyar carried out demolition orders on two illegally-built Arabs homes situated in Walls National Park in the City of David. The homes were constructed back in 2002.
The demolitions were scheduled to take place before Pesach but that was put on hold after the Prime Minister’s Office became involved, giving the order to delay the move. After all appeals were rejected by the court, the demolition orders were given the go-ahead.
