B’chasdei Hashem, no one was killed or injured when a bomb was hurled into the Kever Rochel complex on Monday, 8 Iyar. The pipe bomb was hurled from the PA (Palestinian Authority) side, over the wall into the complex. Security officials detonated the bomb in a controlled blast without incident.

Rabbi Tzvi Uziyahu, who is affiliated with Mosdos Kever Rochel reports seeing the bomb that was hurled over the wall, adding “Chasdei Hashem nothing occurred”.

The rav praised the actions of security forces at the holy site, crediting them with maintaining a watchful eye around the clock to permit ongoing limud torah and tefilos including Kollel Chatzos.
