Rabbi Yisrael Solomon of Tel Hashomer Hospital was outraged and pained to see the hospital shul had been desecrated, including a homeless man urinating in the shul R”L. There was no damage to Sifrei Torah B”H.
The shul is busy, as is the case in many hospitals, as people frequently drop in to daven, recite Tehillim and are mispallel for their loved ones. The rav immediately contacted hospital security in an effort to prevent a reoccurrence, explaining the shul remains open around-the-clock.
The rav praised the actions of hospital security, which tracked down the homeless man responsible, evicting him from the facility.
