Indictment Filed Against Nuclear Whistle Blower Mordechai Vanunu


1Mordechai Vanunu has once again been indicted in Israel, this time following a meeting with American citizens in Yerushalayim, a violation of his parole restrictions.

Vanunu, a former nuclear technician revealed details of Israel’s nuclear program to the British media in 1986. This resulted in an 18-year prison term including over 11 in solitary confinement. Following his release in 2004, he continues to fight to leave the country and meet with foreign nationals. He has since been imprisoned a number of times for violating the strict conditions of his parole including a three-month sentence in 2010. His restrictions include a prohibition on speaking to any media or foreigners.

The latest indictment documents a meeting between Vanunu and American in an eastern Jerusalem hotel in 2013. In addition, he changed address without notifying authorities are required.

  1. He worked at Dimona nuclear power plant, took lots of pictures escaped the country and gave the pictures to the British news and exposed the Israeli Nuclear program.

    The Israels then tricked him back to israel and gave him 18 years for espionage.

    he has converted to christianity and calls him John Grossman and has tried to escape israel (He cannot leave the coutnry as part of his parole terms)
