Over 4,000 Talmidim who attended Yeshivas Ben Hazmanim in Yerushalayim on Tuesday 25 Nissan took part in a trip to the north before returning to school. They visited the Upper Galil and Golan Heights.
The height of the trip was a visit to Kever Rashbi in Meron where a large kenos was held in the presence of HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita, head of Shas’ Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael. Council member Rabbi David Yosef Shlita also took part in the event as did Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Tzvika Cohen and Yahadut Hatorah’s Yitzchak Pindrus. The event was arranged by the Jerusalem Chareidi Education Unit by Tzvika Cohen in cooperation with councilmen from Yahadut Hatorah.
Rav Cohen called on talmidim to make an extra effort to display ‘ahavas chinam’ to one another, especially now as well as with their studies and mussar and halacha. Rav Cohen’s address was followed by words of hisorarus from Rav David Yosef.
