There have been three cross-border attacks from Gaza in as many days and B’chasdei Hashem, there were no fatalities or injuries in the attacks.
The most recent occurred on Wednesday afternoon 26 Nissan when soldiers operating near Sajaiyeh reported explosions near them from mortar shells. According to unconfirmed Arab reports, the IDF responded with artillery fire towards the Hamas position east of Sajaiyeh. Earlier in the day, mortar shells were fired towards personnel operating along the border fence. The third attack occurred on Tuesday, when gunfire was directed at soldiers in the Nachal Ohz area.
In the Wednesday morning attack, tanks responded to the attack. Construction equipment was damaged in at least one of the attacks, the mortar fire on Wednesday morning.
UPDATE: There have been additional attacks from Gaza on Wednesday afternoon, B’chasdei Hashem without fatalities or injuries.
