Police were met by a hostile crowd when arriving to a domestic violence call on erev Pesach in Ramat Beit Shemesh. A crowd of sikrikim gathered quickly and police found their vehicle was turned on its side. Reinforcements arrived and they were able to leave the scene without incident. Police arrived on Tuesday morning to arrest persons involved in turning over the police car.
Another report states the arrests involved sikrikim who were violent during Chol Hamoed Pesach near the Belz Beis Medrash.
Early Tuesday morning 25 Nissan police arrived in large numbers and arrested six sikrikim allegedly involved in violent disturbances. Police used area surveillance cameras to learn the identities of persons who took part in area violence.
