Back in February, Bar Ilan University officials announced the dismissal of Dr. Oded Gaz, a member of the university’s physics department after the Supreme Chief Rabbinate Beis Din placed him in nidui for not giving his wife a Get for over four years.

The Agunah Unit of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel is now reporting that Gaz seems to have vanished. It is added that he has stopped appearing when summoned by the Beis Din. Officials from the Agunah Unit ask that anyone with information regarding his whereabouts call 050-609-4345.
