After revolutionizing the way a city interacts with its citizens with the DigiTel Residents club, Tel Aviv is taking its Smart City initiative to the next level by introducing a residents-only credit card. The new DigiTel credit card will be accepted in many Tel Aviv businesses, allowing card holders to accumulate a discount in the value of 5-10% of each acquisition to use in other businesses in the city.

Tel Aviv was ranked the Smartest City in the World in the Smart City Expo 2014, based on the DigiTel initiative, focusing on civic engagement. The new innovative credit card is the second phase of the DigiTel project.

The new credit card is aimed at reducing the cost of living for residents, and strengthening the community ties with the businesses of the Nonstop City.
