Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu headed to Russia on Thursday morning 13 Nissan for a one-day visit to meet with President Vladimir Putin. Mr. Netanyahu returns to Israel on Thursday night.
According to official reports to the media, the Prime Minister will be discussing Syria’s involvement in Syria as Israel will stress it has no objections to a peace agreement in that country for as long as Israel’s border with Syria remains quiet. The Prime Minister will also address Russia’s decision to move ahead with the sale of the advanced S-300 anti-aircraft system to Iran despite Jerusalem’s objections.
