Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu headed to Russia on Thursday morning 13 Nissan for a one-day visit to meet with President Vladimir Putin. Mr. Netanyahu returns to Israel on Thursday night.
According to official reports to the media, the Prime Minister will be discussing Syrias involvement in Syria as Israel will stress it has no objections to a peace agreement in that country for as long as Israels border with Syria remains quiet. The Prime Minister will also address Russias decision to move ahead with the sale of the advanced S-300 anti-aircraft system to Iran despite Jerusalems objections.
