In the presence of Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz, the third portion of Jerusalem’s Begin Highway was dedicated on Wednesday, 12 Nissan.
With the new portion operational, drivers will be able to cross Jerusalem from north to south without traffic signals. The roadway includes six lanes, four interchanges, ten bridges, and two tunnels.
The ceremony took place on Thursday morning at 10:15 at the new section if one came from the direction of Malcha.
