The soldier who shot and killed the wounded terrorist minutes after the latter stabbed and wounded an IDF soldier in Hebron on Purim has been identified as Elor Azariya.
The gag order that prohibited identifying the soldier was lifted on Monday afternoon 10 Nissan. The 20-year-old soldier is a resident of Ramle.
Azariya was officially indicted for manslaughter today after he ‘verified the kill’, shooting at the wounded terrorist, who the military prosecutor insists no longer posed a threat.
