75 Magen David Adom EMTs and paramedics last week took part in an advanced emergency vehicle operator’s course to improve their driving skills. The special course was geared to on-call personnel who ride two-wheeled vehicles.
The one-day course was held on Friday, 7 Nissan in the Superland complex in Rishon L’Tzion.
The two-wheeled response unit was founded in 2006, and numbers 200 ambucycles today, including for paramedics carrying advanced life support equipment. MDA officials report an additional 50 units will be added to the national fleet in the near future.
