HaGaon HaRav Moshe Yehuda Schneider, HaGaon HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman’s Shlita chavrusa tells that of late, Maran was approached by a group of women who R”L ate something prohibited and asked what tikun would be appropriate.
The rav was visibly troubled when he heard their story, responding “oy oy” and did not respond. When nudged to respond Maran told them to recite 20 perakim Tehillim daily.

Did Maran also say this should be posted on the internet so that we all do this? or is it possible he meant it for those people whom he instructed, but not for everyone with an internet connection?
Did he tell them to pay attention to what they they were ordering?? I know the story. Some negligence was involved.
1 understand the words of a tzaddik….when a person asks him he has siyate d’ishmaya and the rights words are put in his mouth for that particular person(s)at that particular time.
there was a story where 2 people came with same problem and ther got 2 conradictory advice.
@M – Regardless. What we all can gain from his response is the grave nature of consuming prohibited foods even unintentionally. Certainly tikunim must me custom fit, nonetheless his pain and reply that a great commitment is required is an important cry/call to the masses as well.
