Thieves managed to steal more than $300,000 from a Boro Park bank over the weekend, and get away undetected.
Sources tell YWN that the thieves broke in through a roof and climbed into the HSBC Bank, located at 13 Avenue and 44 Street.
Workers arriving at the bank on Monday morning found that the bank had been robbed and called police.
The robbery occurred sometime between Friday night and Monday morning – when the bank was closed.
One source added that the alarm was broken at the time, leading to speculation that this may have been an “inside job”.
Detectives are currently on the scene, and in investigation is underway.
Further details will be published when released by the NYPD.
