Police have arrested a 23-year-old man after he allegedly shouted antisemitic slurs at two Orthodox teenagers.
The man, who has not been named, was detained after he approached the boys in Stamford Hill, north London, on Sunday night.
He allegedly shouted: “[expletive removed] Jews – kill the Jews.”
He is also said to have shouted “Allahu Akbar”.
The victims, aged 17 and 14, were walking along Manor Road when the incident allegedly took place. They called Shomrim.
Its members called police, who arrested the man.
A Metropolitan police spokesman confirmed: “Officers arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences. He remains in custody at an east London police station.”
