The terrorist shot dead while wounded and on the ground in Hebron on Purim,
Abed Fattah al-Sharif, died of that soldier’s gunfire, an Arab coroner who observed the autopsy on Sunday, 24 Adar-II reports.
The soldiers, whose name is barred from publication, is likely to face manslaughter charges for firing at the head of the wounded terrorist. The autopsy was to determine if those shots caused the death or if he was dead prior to the soldier firing at his head.
While Israel conducted the autopsy, Doctor Ryan Alali, director of pathology at the forensic institute at An Najah University in Shechem was observing. In an interview with al-Quds newspaper that the death was caused by the soldier’s gunfire.
There is a gag order on the case and the ongoing investigation. The IDF prosecutor has signaled he has gathered sufficient evidence to move ahead with manslaughter charges in the case.

There is a terrible mistake in this report. While the video evidence appears that this is the case, the report gives legitimacy to the PA coroner, as if any statement coming from PA anybody is reliable. So far, none here have encountered a Muslim who values honesty. If a Muslim says something that is true, it is only for personal gain. And if there is perceived gain from falsehood, Islam actually cherishes that. I have no care in the world what the PA coroner says, and neither should the media.
