Shas leader Aryeh Deri on Wednesday morning 20 Adar-II spoke to the press in light of allegations of an ongoing probe against him by police for alleged corruption. Deri explained that as soon as he was made aware of this he contacted Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit, asking him to have the gag order on the case removed for he has nothing to hide.
He added he remains available to any authority wishing to speak with him or question him at any time towards removing the shadow of doubt of any wrongdoing against him. He also calls on those involved in the case to do what they can to expedite the process to permit him to put this behind him.
He concluded that he continues performing his duties and remains confident the probe will clear him of any wrongdoing.

I guess that this is one form of human nature. If you don’t like a certain individual , I guess you can start an investigation and ask 100 government agents to dig through 1,000,000 piles of documents over the course of 10 years. If the government runs out of money during this extremely important investigation, please do not worry, they will convene an urgent cabinet meeting to discuss raising the taxes on all citizens ASAP.
