Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has decided to halt returning the bodies of terrorists for burial, in line with the policy of Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan.

While many cabinet members favor the move, Mr. Netanyahu continued listening to Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, who is opposed to the move. He feels that the delay in returning bodies for burial will not serve as a deterrent to attacks but further fuel the fires of dispute and result in additional attacks.

While Ya’alon has not changed his opinion, the Prime Minister this week decided to refrain from returning the bodies of terrorists until further notice after months of ongoing Palestinian terror attacks.
