The mother of the imprisoned soldier, the soldier who verified the kill by shooting a wounded terrorist in the head after wounding soldiers in a Hebron attack sent a letter to Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon.
The mother states clearly that “you too” have ‘verified the kill’, as clearly soldiers are taught to act this way under certain conditions and without a doubt Ya’alon during his decades of service has done the very same thing.
She painfully and angrily cites that Ya’alon and his IDF Chief have abandoned her son unjustifiably despite being the senior commanders responsible for his well-being.

THE IMPRISONMENT OF THIS SOLDIER IS A DISGRACE. THESE SITUATIONS TURN ISRAEL FROM A DEMOCRACY TO A
DEMOCKERY! DEFENDING TERRORISTS IN SUCH A SITUATION IS SO RIDICULOUS THAT IT SURELY MAKES THE WHOLE ARAB WORLD LAUGH OUT LOUD. I CANNOT IMAGINE ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD ACTING THIS WAY, ESPECIALLY WHEN ONE READS THE DETAILS OF THIS CONFRONTATION. THAT SOLDIER SHOULD GET A MEDAL AND A PROMOTION.
