The other day I was at the Malka Mall in Jerusalem. They were selling Purim costumes,masks and Shalach Manos. It frightened me to see Muslim women and girls buying Purim masks.. Someone should look into that.
Would Belgium declare a day of mourning if it coincided with a Christian or Moslem holiday? I believe not. Just a reminder of what the Jewish position is in Belgium.
Sad, but a very true reality for the Jews in Belgium. Certainly there will be a feeling of a diminished level of simchas Purim 2016 there.
