10:36AM IL: A fire service spokesman is confirming that in addition to the explosions in the airport, there have been four different explosions in Brussels metro stations. The metro has been shut down. According to unconfirmed reports the blasts were in stations in Central Brussels.

10:56: In light of the explosions in the metro stations and the airport, security in Brussels has been raised to maximum level. One blast was at a Maalbeek metro station close to EU buildings in Brussels.
