Several people were hurt when an MTA bus crashed into a pillar underneath the FDR Drive in Manhattan.
It happened just after 4 p.m. Monday on East 34th Street.
An MTA spokesman says a QM11 Express bus was traveling south when it lost control and struck part of the overpass. He says five people on the bus were injured. Fire officials say a total of nine people were treated at the scene.
Video shows one of the injured being removed from the bus on a stretcher.
All of the injuries were considered non-life threatening.
