‘Schar Mitzvah’ Offering Free Legal Assistance to Bnei Brak Residents


bbrA new program by the Israel Bar Association will provide free legal aid to residents of Bnei Brak. The agreement to launch the program in the torah city was reached during a meeting between Schar Mitzvah representatives and Mayor Chanoch Zeibert.

The program has been operating for 14 years, seeking to provide free legal services to persons of limited means. It is now going to begin operating in Bnei Brak.

Bnei Brak City Hall has agreed to allocated a room that will be used by the Schar Mitzvah representatives to meet with residents seeking free legal advice.

Attorney Yosef Weizman, who lives in Bnei Brak, explained that residents will receive free legal assistance including direction for bankruptcy, family law and many other areas. He explains the program will begin operating in the city in the coming weeks.
