Police from the Binyamin Region operated in Modi’in Illit, addressing three cases of possible negligence, small children found without a parent or caretaker.
Police on Wednesday morning 29 Adar-I found an 18-month-old girl left without a guardian on a city bus. Police succeeded in locating the daycare center that watches the child and she was taken there. When they probed what occurred they learned the parents forgot the child on the bus.
Elsewhere in the city a ten-year-old boy approached police and told them his 4-year-old brother was lost. Police began a search. The child arrived in kindergarten on his own.
In a third case a 4-year-old was found barefoot unattended in the city. Police managed to track down the mother.
In all three cases, the parents of the children were summoned to police for questioning and may face charges of negligence. No additional police were released in the Shai (Shomron-Yehuda) District spokesman’s report.
