An Jewish man was seriously injured on Tuesday morning 28 Adar-I when he was struck by a vehicle in Stamford Hill while heading to shachris.
The incident occurred at about 6:15AM at the junction of Stamford Hill and Clapton Common.
Police said the victim, who is in his 40s, was taken to hospital where his injuries are being treated as life-threatening.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We sent an ambulance crew and a medical team from London’s Air Ambulance by car to the scene. An ambulance crew from Hatzola also attended.
“We treated a man reported to be in his 40s for a head injury. He was taken as a priority to a major trauma centre escorted by the doctor from London’s Air Ambulance.”
