The White House says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled a visit to Washington rather than accepting President Barack Obama’s invitation to a meeting.
White House spokesman Ned Price says Israel’s government had requested a meeting between the two leaders on March 17 or March 18, during Netanyahu’s scheduled trip to the U.S. capital. He says the White House offered a March 18 meeting and was “looking forward” to hosting it.
But Price says the White House says it first learned through news reports Monday that Netanyahu “opted to cancel his visit.” He’s calling the move surprising.
Price is disputing reports in the Israeli media that said the White House couldn’t find a time to accommodate a meeting.
Netanyahu’s office is declining to comment.

After the way Obama has treated Bibi, he has no right to complain about being snubbed by him.
Obama would never lie. It MUST be Bibi’s fault
Hillary would continue the bad relations with Israel as all her advisers are anti Israel especially Huma.
That’s alright. Mr. Tough guy, Uncle Joe Biden, can meet with Bibi while he’s in the middle east, drawing up Obama’s new “red lines”.
It’s below Obama prestige .. Any way who would want to have a meeting with his enemy
First Netanyahu comes to the US and everyone in America complains, and now he cancels a visit and they get upset about that.
