The U.S. Secret Service says a man who tried to breach the White House fence was tackled and arrested before he got on the executive mansion’s grounds.
The Washington Post reports a Secret Service officer saw the man about 4:30 p.m. Monday cross a bike rack on the northeastern fence line.
The agency said in a statement that the man did not gain entry to the grounds and the incident was quickly resolved.
An agency spokesman tells The Post that the suspect was turned over to D.C. police.

It was a failed fence jumper. Things are back to normal now.
If he wants to enter the White House he should joint the presidential race.
