A siyum of Shas was held on Tuesday evening the eve of 22 Adar-I in Yeshivas Orchos Torah marking the shloshim for HaGaon HaRav Chaim Yisroel Belsky ZATZAL, in the presence of MaRran HaGaon HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita.

The siyum was done by HaGaon HaRav Yechiel Kellerman Shlita and Kaddish was recited by HaGaon HaRav Tzvi Yehuda Edelstein Shlita.

Rav Belsky was one of the Roshei Yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaas in Flatbush, and a leading Posek in the United States. Rav Belsky was renowned as of the most brilliant Torah minds of our generation, with a grasp of virtually kol haTorah kulah and instant recall and knowledge all across the spectrum. He was 77-years-old.

Thousands attended his Levaya in New York as well as in Yerushalayim.
