ZivugZone.com, a unique frum shidduch website, was launched 3 years ago with much eagerness and anticipation. The founder, Moshe Coan, a licensed therapist and marriage counselor, wanted to create a dating website that would allow machmir and yeshivish singles the ability to become more proactive in their quest for shidduchim.  Through a sophisticated compatibility matching system, singles were afforded the opportunity to communicate via a shadchan or through a confidential in-house messaging system. The response has been fantastic.  Almost 7,000 singles have registered since that time.  A number of shidduchim have been made and baby photos shared!

 It is now with great excitement that ZivugZone launches its next phase.  ZivugZone will now be introducing a groundbreaking initiative that will, IY”H, make a very significant number of shidduchim.  ZivugZone will be inviting hundreds of verified shadchanim onto the website to make shidduchim between their own private clients and ZivugZone members. This will greatly increase the exposure of each and every shidduch resume!

Moshe Coan described the concept behind this new initiative this way:

“I said to myself, why not harness the power of the shadchanim out there who possess sizable lists of clients but a shortage of singles with whom to set them up? The shadchanim out in the community are short on resources and therefore their hands are tied.  By making the thousands of ZivugZone singles available to these shadchanim, everybody wins.  I envision a situation whereby, in the near future, 500 shadchanim will be on ZivugZone seeking to pair their own private clients with 10,000 ZivugZone singles. Through this process of sharing and cross-pollination, tens of thousands of singles resumes will be accessible to viewing and matching. With the active participation of an army of private shadchanim, I expect thousands of shidduchim over the years.

I encourage encourage all frum singles to register and create a profile on ZivugZone.  It will be 100% free for shadchanim to view your profile. The only stipulation will be that, if these shadchanim find you a shidduch, you will be asked to pay the customary shadchanus gelt to the shadchan.

As an added incentive to encourage all frum singles to register on ZivugZone, we will be introducing a “password protected” photo option.  With the “password protected” photo option, the ZivugZone member’s photo will only be visible to the shadchanim and not to other ZivugZone members.”

 Moshe Coan addresses shadchanim: “I encourage every shadchan around the world to participate.  As an incentive, we have developed sophisticated filtering software to help you quickly and easily identify compatible matches for your clients. You will be able to filter ZivugZone singles based on age, location, hashkafah, and other relevant criteria.

Any bonafide shadchan is eligible to participate. By “bonafide” is meant  someone who seeks to make shidduchim with singles in the community (as opposed to being an interested party who is merely trying to set up friends and relatives).  To qualify, you also must be someone who has made shidduchim in the past and expects to be paid shadchanus gelt when making a shidduch.
