Family Requests Tefilos on Behalf of Egged 402 Bus Victim Sara Sperling


eggedThe family of Sara bas Dina Sperling, the kallah who was seriously injured in the Egged 402 bus accident is still in need of Am Yisrael’s tefilos.

Sara’s right hand was avulsed in the accident, and surgeons reattached it in a ten-hour procedure. A leg was also crushed in the accident. She and her sister, who sustained light injuries, were on their way to Bnei Brak for a final shopping before her chasenah.

Doctors at Assaf HaRofeh Hospital on Thursday, 16 Adar-I informed the family they detected bleeding in the injured hand and they are preparing for an emergency surgery that will take several hours in the hope of saving the reattached hand. Sarah is listed in light-to-moderate/stable condition in an intensive care unit.

Sara’s sister Mrs. Rikki Hofstetter told Kikar Shabbos News that on Wednesday, 15 Adar-I, doctors detected an infection in her leg. She explained they were aggressive in treating her, placing her back under sedation and B”H it appears the treatment helped. However, on Thursday doctors significant bleeding in the reattached hand and this could endanger her entire body as well as the hand.

Family members call on the tzibur to continue being mispallel for Sara bas Dina — bsoch sha’ar cholei yisroel.
