Eli Beer, the founder of United Hatzalah found himself in Dubai recently on the invitation of the government of Dubai to represent United Hatzalah.
On this visit to Dubai, which is Beer’s second, he was given a special task. Leo Noe, a huge philanthropist from London challenged him to dress up as an Arab Sheik speaking Hebrew and wearing Tzitzis on top of it in the center of Dubai. He did it all to make good on Noe’s offer to donate a third ambucycle for United Hatzalah of Israel.
This is Eli Beer’s second visit to Dubai.
The purpose of f the visit was to meet representatives of international volunteer organizations as Hatzalah seeks to expands its operations outside of Israel. It plans to help establish identical organizations in Dubai, India and Bangladesh.
As YWN reported, in July 2015, Beer traveled to the Arab country along with Hatzalah’s operations manager Dovie Maisel
