Sara bas Dina Sperling is reported to be in moderate condition. She was the most seriously injured passenger on board the Egged 402 bus that crashed on Highway 1 last week, killing six people R”L.
Sara’s right hand was avulsed in the accident and her leg was crushed. B’chasdei Hashem doctors were able to reattach here hand in a 10-hour surgery and after doing a brachial artery bypass last week, it appears the surgery was successful and Am Yisrael continues being mispallel on her behalf.
Over Shabbos doctors brought here out of her medically induced coma and she is now breathing without assistance.
Sara, who lives in the N’vei Yaakov neighborhood of Yerushalayim was traveling to Bnei Brak with her sister for a last shopping prior to her chasenah. Her sister was lightly injured.
